Paul:
Congrats on your new blog.
Will you consider an inventory by country, variety and/or price, that we can access on line?

Thx Richard. I can post a static list but it wouldn’t be ‘searchable’. But are you thinking of more of an eCommerce application where you can order on-line too?
Be interested to know whether others would find this valuable too.
Cheers

Hi Paul, great to see this Bowen Island Blog! I’ve just added the site to my ‘Salish Sea’ blog sidebar. I enjoyed the Malbec wine tasting! Best wishes… Robert

Paul, lately my favourite wine has become the Argentine Malbec, but I must say that all Malbecs are not created equally. I picked up a Dos Fincas 2008 in Park Royal a couple of days ago and I would advise against this one. It does not smooth out with airing and leaves an almost metallic after taste. At $18, I would suggest throw in another toonie and get something delightful.

Would you consider trying some Valle de Guadalupe red wines from Baja California North, Mexico. Here’s an article on Baja Wines.

We ran off the island (family emergency) before we could comment on the Koyle you recommended to us. We did quite enjoy the Malbec, a little spicier and less fruity than we are used to but good to expand our horizons. Next time we are on the island, looking forward to talking about Rieslings, I see you are a fan and so are we. Thanks!
